I've been very inspired by The Arcana game, so much so that it has motivated me to create my own characters and worlds, and possibly my own visual novel at one point! It's also inspired and motivated me to keep practicing my art and get my own style down, so I decided to first create my apprentice (or the main character) for The Arcana game.
I'll continuously add to this album as I create more for her. I plan to thoroughly flesh her out as a character, an asset ready for a visual novel and then I will continue with worlds and possibly illustrating scenes from The Arcana.
I also entered her in to a contest called #vesuviahigh by @_savydigital_ on Instagram. It seemed like a fun opportunity to share my work so I did
I have used a variety of references from other great artists as well as photos of art style, poses, clothing, etc. to get my character completed.
I do not own The Arcana or any of it's characters/settings. I am using it for inspiration for my own art. Many thanks to Nix Hydra for creating this beautiful and thrilling game!
